An operational approach based on Thales's experience

Thales’s role across the entire critical decision chain is to minimise risks and threats associated with potential accidental failures and cyberattacks. Safety and cybersecurity lie right at the heart of what we do.

With this backdrop in mind, this white paper presents Thales’s experience in “cybersecurity by design”. The principles set out apply irrespective of the development methodology used (Agile or V-cycle). As we will demonstrate, implementing cybersecurity by design draws on engineering practices similar to those implemented for software components that play a critical role in terms of operating safety.
